The attachment for a cassette lamp housing has a swinging arm (3a) supported by a nut (3) on a screw (4). This is retained by a flat strip bracket with one arm (2b) at right angles to the axis of the screw, acting as a leaf spring for movement in one direction, and a second arm for movement in another direction. Between the sloping top of the nut and the horizontal arm of the spring is a wedge shaped block (3b) from which extends the rectangular section swinging arm. The base of the bracket is bent over in a part of a loop enclosing the base of the screw. The bracket is triangular, with its sloping side mounted on the sloping face of the lamp housing.
