Mixer tank for road building bituminous compound - has horizontally movable thrust arms with swivelling lid and bottom hinged carrier

The mixer is installed in a container for prepared or unprepared bituminous compounds, esp. as used in road building. It comprises at least one vertically mounted thrust arm (13, 14, 15, 16), fitting the inside cross-section of the container (1) and mechanically movable backwards and forwards. This incorporates an outlet aperture (26, 28, 30, 32) with an upward swivelling lid (34, 38, 40) hinged to the side away from the outlet. On the side of the arm facing the outlet there is a hinged plate-shaped carrier (41, 42, 43, 44), also swivelling upwards, projecting beyond the arm bottom end and fitting the channelled bottom (2) of the container. This intensifies the processes of emptying the container and of mixing the compound.
