<p>The excavator has a boom with an actuating ram mounted on it, ram and boom hinging on an intermediate member, the latter in turn being secured to the bucket by two fixing devices on the latter. The devices each have an open slot and a pin hole, while the intermediate member between them comprises two parallel plates joined together by a bar engaging in the slots, and a plate fitting against the mating portion of the bucket. A pin fits through holes in the plates and the pin holes referred to. The pins coupling boom and ram to intermediate member can have pins protruding sideways, working in conjunction with trunnions on the member.</p> |
