Prodn. of large-size parisons of inflatable materials, e.g. expanded plastics such as polystyrene, requires that a container with the material be arranged above the mould, with pipes connecting the container to the inside of the mould. The container is fixed with elastic hoses connecting it to the tilting cover of the mould. Arrangement eliminates the mechanical linkage and guide rails needed to shaft movable containers together with the cover for the mould charging operation. |
