<p>The tool is used to sharpen the steel edges of a ski and comprises a circular body (1) with a flat face. This has a pin (3) on one diameter, offset to one side (9). The same diameter has, on the opposite side, a cutting blade (12) of hard metal. This is held in a recess by a clamp (8) and screw (7). Its front face projects beyond the body and its cutting edge (10) is on the same diameter (11) as the pin. This is rested on one edge, the cutting blade contacting the other. Sharpening proceeds by rapidly passing the tool along the ski length.</p> |
