1513794 Grinding nuts H H AUER and F J ZUCKER [trading as SUPRATON AUER & ZUCKER OHG] 16 May 1975 [21 May 1974] 20993/75 Heading A4C [Also in Division B2] Nuts, preferably mixed with sugar and water for making marzipan, are ground by passage between a rotor 16 and a stator 15 mounted coaxially and each having teeth 17 arranged in circles around the axis. The nuts are transported from a supply vessel 5 by means of a compression screw and a feedscrew, mounted parallel to each other whereby the compression screw impels nuts against a blank wall thereby precompressing them and causing them to move sideways to engage the feedscrew which supplies the grinding stage 3. A pipe 34 passing coaxially through the feedscrew and supplied by inlet 33 is provided to allow liquid to be mixed during the grinding. A return screw 27 leading from the feedscrew housing 32 to the supply vessel 5 is provided so that excess pressure build up in the feedscrew can be relieved. |
