A stable expanded material consists of a hydrocarbon binding agent and >=8 wt. % (w.r.t. the binding agent) of polyurethane. The polyurethane is obtd. by reaction within the binding agent of a polyisocyanate with a cpd. having free OH functions, in the presence of a prod. inducing the foaming. The expanded material is much more stable than previous materials based on hydrocarbon binding agents. When the binding agent is not yet hardened, the material is sticky w.r.t. numerous materials, which can facilitate its placing in position.
|
