<p>The temperature sensor has a casing with a sensing element pressed elastically against the wall of a pipe or vessel. It includes a resistance winding placed between two insulating plates, the sensing element being thermally insulated from the casing. The sensor may include a leaf spring which bears on the sensing element, the latter being supported on a flexible cushion which acts as the insulator. The sensor may be used in a heating installation.</p> |
