Cake cutting template for division into equal parts - utilises circular mould with concentric bands divided into equal sized segments

A circular cardboard mould with lines near the edge is used at bakers and pastry shops in order that a cake may be cut into equal parts. A circular cardboard mould (1) with a series of concentric bands (3-11) around the edge has each band divided into a number of equal sized segments with alternate colouring. The mould is cut radially to form tongues (12) which are folded up against the cake for packaging. To cut the cake an initial cut is made along an initial line (2) then cuts are made where indicated on the band with the relevant number of segments as indicated by figures adjacent to this line.
