The coil winder, has a number of bobbins mounted in a row and has the wire supplied to each from separate supply rollers. The wires are in parallel and the bobbins are mounted on a common platform with the appropriate number of guides. The guides are reciprocated in synchronism between two stops. The support is in the form of a shaft, with its axis at right angles to the axes of rotation of the bobbins. It can swivel between two setting positions. The end of the guide closest to the bobbins is tubular. The support shaft which can be hollow is coupled to a step motor. The swivel and sliding motion of the shaft will produce a rotary motion of the guide.
