The mower can be fitted to front of a tractor using a mounting frame made up of two parts. On one side, the lifting linkage is fixed while on the other side is a cross beam with rotors which rotate about vertical axes. The frame parts (16, 20) are connected by a rotary thrust bearing (2) and have a swing axis (18) in the working direction (15). The further support results through the axial bearings (3) which move on an arc (19) while the middle point of movement is the rotary thurst bearing. The frame parts can be moved vertically with respect to each other.
