<p>The safety release mechanism is for an eccentric press with two hand levers which have to be actuated simultaneously in order to engage the clutch by a linkage. The linkage releases a locking mechanism (1, 5, 8) between the punch (4) and the press table (6). The locking mechanism can comprise two setting bolts (1) coupled to the punch, two setting brackets (5) underneath them on the table, each with a drilling (7) to accommodate the respective bolt on normal release, and a locking disc (8) freeing the drilling in each bracket under such conditions. Each disc can form one arm of a lever (10) pivoting on a vertical pin (11).</p> |
