The cup-shaped plastic vessel is partic. for use as a disposable packing, having two portions of different sizes accommodating separate materials such as diary products, fruit etc. The portions are joined together at the top, having thin walls tapering towards the bottom. The section (5) joining the two portions (2, 3) is so shaped as to allow the smaller one (3) to hinge on the larger one (2) along a line (S) running through this section. The smaller one has at its top end a cross-section tapering towards the hinge line. The joining section can be weakened along the hinge line, forming a fold at this point, typically by a recess cut into it, or perforations at intervals.
