A foam material, esp. polyurethane foam, is made from a reaction mixt. contg. used motor oil. The foam may be used for cavity wall insulation. The slight deterioration in the properties of the foam produced is more than offset by the redn. in costs of otherwise disposing of the oil. The oil is pref. first (mechanically) freed of slivers etc.
