<p>The roof covering is made up from relatively thin panels, interconnected with at least one of two interfacing side pieces, and with both side pieces engaging in an upward open U-shaped rail, via downward bent edges. The downward bent edges (11c) of the panels have positive and negative seams (13), while the shanks of the rails (12) are fitted with corresp. bulge or groove-shaped depressions or elevations (14) into which the same can lock. Pairs of overlapping panels may be coupled together by two seams, one convex and one concave. Seams and/or bulges and grooves may be rounded in cross-section. The rails may be load bearing elements, and pref. in channel shape. Anchoring is stable, and effective sealing is provided between adjacent elements.</p> |
