Combining several parts to form a vehicle lamp glass - by deep-drawing a sheet of warmed thermoplastic over them

Several components are combined into a lamp glass by forming a layer of transparent plastic over them. By the invention, the layer is a plastic film, applied by pre-heating and deep-drawing. An adhesive may be used under the plastic film. The film is pref. laminated, with a scratch-proof, corrosion-resistant outer skin over a strong base material, and a layer of adhesive; possibly also a layer to absorb UV light.
