For breaking down impermissibly high pressures in reactor buildings, partitions of the same have relief openings (7) which are closed by pressure-relieving flaps (6) which are rotatable about hinges. For breaking down the movement energy of these flaps (6), the arrangement of the hinge joint axes (10) of in each case two flaps (6) is selected in such a manner that they are moved towards one another in the event of an opening movement following a pressure increase. The movement in the opposite direction is ended on the collision of two flaps. In this case, the movement energy is converted into deformation energy by the deformation of the flaps. <IMAGE>
