Stitching may involve one or two threads in each row. The filter medium may be woven or felted possibly reinforced by outer layers 15, 17 of scrim. The strips 26, 28 may be multi-stranded, fluffy yarn. Several such elements may be glued to a common end plate (Fig. 1 not shown). |
