The air cooled engine is fitted with a cowl (2) which guides the air towards the vehicle cab. The spark plug (3) fits into the cylinder head (1) in the tapped hole (4). The plug is screwed onto the cylindrical sleeve (18) which fits under the flange (19). The sleeve is fitted with two lugs which form part of a bayonet catch. The plug is sleeved with a cylinder (7) which penetrates the cowl and is fitted at the lower end with bayonet catch grooves. The sleeve is closed at the top by a cap (10) which takes the ignition lead (13) and allows combustion gas escaping from the plug to escape under the flange (12).
