The tool is used to apply paint to a surface and comprises double rollers, one (4) mounted (10) above the other (3) and provided with contacting foam surfaces (5, 6). The lower roller is hollow, its walls being perforated to enable the paint held in its interior to pass through onto the upper roller. The paint is supplied through similar perforations in the lower roller axle, this being tubular and extended (13) to form the handle grip (14). A flexible tube (27) conveys the paint from a separate container, this having another flexible tube (28) used to pressurise its interior by means of a bulb (30) in the handle grip (31).
