<p>The damping system is intended for an articulated vehicle, particularly an articulated bus consisting of a traction vehicle (1) and one or more trailing vehicles (4), the vehicle (1) having spring-suspended front (2) and rear wheels (3) whilst each trailing vehicle is spring-suspended on wheels (5). Each trailing vehicle is, at its forward end, pivotably (6) coupled to the rear end of its lending vehicle at the level of the vehicle floors (7, 8). Between successive vehicles, one or more shock absorbers (11) are arranged in longitudinal direction at a level near the top of their interiors.</p> |
