<p>The key carrier consists of a rigid square plate (1) and a flexible metallic wire (8), bent into a U-shape. The extremities of the 'U' shape are bent towards each other. On each side of the plate there are grooves (2, 3, 4, 5) parallel to the sides. Each groove has a notch (6, 7) in which the ends of the wire engage. To remove keys or to add them the wire is placed in the short grooves (4, 5) and the ends of it can be removed from the notches by pushing in direction (A). When closed the wire is placed in the long grooves (2, 3) so that only a small part is projecting beyond the plate.</p> |
