The small seed distribution equipment comprises a hopper (1) for the seed, and an extractor mechanism (2) passing through the hopper so as to remove a seed, or a predetermined number of seeds, from it. Other components remove the seeds from the mechanism and deliver them to an appropriate point. The extractor mechanism can incorporate a disc with one or more peripheral notches, in the lower wall of which one or more recesses are formed, the dimensions of which correspond to the mean size of the seeds to be handled. The disc can be round, with a thickness to suit the size of seed, and the notches can be triangular.
