The furniture handle is composed of an extruded profile (1) with longitudinal ribs (2, 2'), of which one longitudinal rib (2') is bevelled to form the handle, and of angular pieces (4) inserted in slots (5) at the ends of the longitudinal ribs (2, 2'). It is arranged countersunk in the surface of an item of furniture. The extruded profile can be produced in any desired lengths. This provides a wide variety for the design of the furniture handles for different uses, e.g.. in office or kitchen furniture. <IMAGE>
