1,161,717. Process for multi-colour dyeing of polyamide fibres. TOYO RAYON K.K. 8 JUNE, 1967 [8 June, 1966], No. 26537/67. Heading D1B. Fabrics composed of at least two polyamide fibres which are chosen such that a) each of up to three fibres belongs to a different class of the following 3 classes, 1) fibres having less than 5 x 10<SP>-5</SP> mole/gm of terminal amino groups, II) fibres having 5 x 10<SP>-5</SP> to 7 x 10<SP>-5</SP> mole/g of terminal amino groups III) fibres having more than 7 x 10<SP>-5</SP> mole/g of terminal amino groups b) the difference of mole/g of terminal amino groups in the respective fibres is at least 2 x 10<SP>-5</SP> mole/g, are dyed at pH 4-7 with an acid dye where absorption ratio as defined is less than 1:20. Optionally further acid dyes or dispersion dyes may be present or an adduct of ethylene oxide and an aliphatic primary amine having 12-18 carbon atoms the molar ratio of ethylene oxide to amine being from 2:1 to 30:1 or a printing or padding medium may contain an organic solvent having up to 12 carbon atoms and at least one alcoholic hydroxy group for 6 carbon atoms. |
