The enzymic liquid washing agent, which has an improved storage stability and contains, as essential constituents, 10-60% by weight of active detergents, 0.001-10% by weight of enzymes and 5-70% by weight of water, possesses a stabilising system consisting of a) 4 to 25% by weight, based on the finished agent, of one or more polyhydroxyl compound(s), which contains or contain only C, H and O atoms and 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, and b) boric acid, or its boron equivalent, which is able to react with the polyhydroxyl compound, the ratio by weight of a) to b) being less than 1, calculated on the basis of borax, and the agent having a pH of 7.5 to 11.0.
