Radial fan comprises a wheel (1) with blades (3) extending axially between a support plate (4) and a cover plate (5). The blades, of which there are (10-16), have an aerofoil-shaped cross-section, and blade angles (Beta1, Beta2) on the input and output sides of (20-35 deg.) and (40-55 deg.) respectively. The inner edge (6) of each blade facing the rotational axis (2) of the impeller extends obliquely, and the distance measured across the rotational axis between the inner edges of opposite blades decreases from the cover plate side to the support plate side. |
