1313546 Metallized monoazo dyes BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 11 Sept 1970 [13 Sept 1969] 43525/70 Heading C4P [Also in Division C3] The invention comprises metallized monoazo dyes of formula wherein Me is a Ni, Co, Cu, Zn or Pd atom, K is the residue of a phenolic or enolic coupling component coupling ortho to -OH and free of SO 3 H groups, X is a halogen atom and n is 0 or 1. The dyes are prepared by coupling a diazotized 2 - [8 - amino - quinolyl - (2)] - indane - 1,3- dione with an appropriate coupling component and metallizing the dye obtained. The dyes are used as red and brown pigments in the mass coloration of polymers (see Division C3) and in the preparation of printing inks. |
