The trailer with individually hydraulically steerable wheel sets, comprises at least one double-acting hydraulic master cylinder arranged at the forward end of the trailer adjacent to a disc-shaped coupling to the traction vehicle. The piston of this cylinder is actuated by the disc via a forward steering rod, the cylinder being connected to a corresponding slave cylinder at the rear. The piston rod of the slave cylinder is connected with a swivel plate which, via a linkage, steers the wheel sets of the vehicle. Pressure accumulators are connected to the hydraulic lines which accumulators may be of the hydro-pneumatic type.
