A roller or plain bearing is supported by a ring centred in a hole in the housing wall, and fastened to it. Accurately machined outer surfaces (4, 5) of the supporting ring (3) are applied to surfaces (6, 7) of a further ring (8), also accurately machined, and connected to it. The further ring (8) is at a distance (10) from the front surface (11) of the housing (9) wall (12) and fastened to it through annular or segment haped elements (16). A clearance (15) is left between the hole (13) in the wall (12) and the outer surface (14) of the supporting ring (3). |
