<p>The structural elements is for economic construction of non-twisting, highly loadable lightweight ceilings, walls, beams and other parts of buildings, or for erection of complete buildings with no additional columns or beams. The system involves undulating sheet metal strips (2), loosely arranged homologously to each other, prestressed across their longitudinal axis and along thhe undulations. Steel meshes or mats (7) are fastened to at least one side of these, by means of bent wire, rod or sheet metal sections (8), or similar joining elements, so as to retain the prestressed state, and combine with the, strips to form a unit (6). A rigid structure can be produced with min. material, and easily set up in primitive workshops, with no special skill needed.</p> |
