<p>In the development of a yarn with a structured wave characteristic, the yarn is knitted on a circular knitter into a tubular intermediate prod. which is fixed before the yarn is unravelled in a knit/deknit process. During the knitting stage, the size of the stitches is progressively increased within each row or from row to row. The irregular wave characteristics of the unravelled yarn allows it to be knitted to give an increased range of knitted fabric effects.</p> |
