The foodstuff is suitably one or more of ground corn, alfalfa meal, soybean meal, minerals and vitamins and preferably contains 0.1 to 1.5% by wt. of the sodium diacetate. If only whole grain cereals or ground corn is fed to the animals the amount of sodium diacetate present is less than 0.4%. |
