The buoyancy tube material is cut to size in such a way that the connecting seams (4, 5) form an inverted T in stern view in the inflated state of the buoyancy tube (3). The horizontal connecting seam (4) is here arranged in the bottom third of the stern view of the buoyancy tube and forms a separation edge for the flowing water.
