The circuit is supplied by an inductive and/or capacitive coupling circuit picking up electromagnetic radiation. Signals are delivered by the electronic circuit back through the same coupling circuit to the energy supply unit. This is down by brief keying of a keying element in series or in parallel with a rectifier at the coupling element output. This rectifier can be the one which supplies the energy from the coupling to the electronic circuit. A capacitor or another storage component is in parallel with the energy input. Its storage capacity is sufficient to supply the electronic circuit with energy during the keying periods without the voltage falling below a specified limit. It is recharged by the coupling circuit during intervals between keying periods. The energy supply unit has an electronic element scanning variations of energy supply due to the above keying.
