<p>The process is for keeping clear hollow spaces, which are not readily accessible, in concrete structures, during casting, where normal formwork could not be removed after the concrete has set hard. A filler substance (5) is introduced into the hollow spaces which are to be kept clear, and the volume and/or load bearing capacity of this can be reduced when the concrete structure is finished. The process is esp. applicable to laying load bearing slabs on a substructure with intervening elastic support elements, esp. for a ballast-less railway track slab structure on bridge or tunnel layers, with slabs aligned and fixed in position with cast material.</p> |
