<p>The main patent describes an attachment (20) to the sole of a ski-boot (1) with a convex surface which provides a better grip when walking on snow. This addition is concerned with a caliper support which enables the attachment (20) to be secured on the toe of the boot (1) when skis are fitted to the boots. The caliper (26) is a U-shaped piece of wire supported on two eyes (29) fixed to the upper edge of the sole of the ski-boot. A double acting spring holds the attachment (20) pressed against the under-surface of the sole during walking. When the caliper is swung through 270 deg. the spring holds the attachment on the upper surface of the toe (3) of the boot.</p> |
