<p>A locking device for a pin (6) or spindle, which passes through a hole (5) in a plate (4), is located on the underside of the plate, and engages a groove (8) cut across the end of the pin. On the underside of the plate (4) is welded a flat strip (1) with one edge tangential to the hole. This has two tapped holes (7) through it, one ach end. A second strip (2), wider than the first, but of the same length, fits into the groove across the pin. This is then secured by two bolts (3) which pass through holes in the ends matching the tapped holes.</p> |
