<p>The combustion furnace grid has a frame and slides and supports arranged at right angles to the grid movement. These transverse supports are carried in alternating order partly by the frame and partly by the slide. The grid system is bounded on sides by side plates. This design ensures that the expansion gap between the grid rods can be eliminated. The support members carried by the frame (6) are connected at one free and of the frame (6).
