<p>The appliance is for the double-sided application of a coating material onto a strip-shaped substrate such as cloth, paper, or foil etc. The substrate is guided upwards to a double coating knife. Below the coating knife, the substrate is guided past a straight alignment unit, which extends over its complete width. The alignment unit has an element, engaging only on one side of the substrate. The substrate engages on the side of the double coating knife opposite to the alignment element. There is an element for each side of the substrate, and both are positioned above each other, so that the substrate moves through an S-shaped path.</p> |
