<p>The pipette has a solid handle at the end of a deformable bulb with the opposite end connecting over a short narrow tube, with a pipette opening. The bulb is of deformable transparent plastic, and is prepared pent-filled with anticoagulant, so that a blood sample can be preserved for some time in the pipette pending laboratory investigation. The pipette may be made with a break-off stopper on the end of the handle, and several pipettes may be manufactured as one piece, from which they are broken off one-by-one when required for use.</p> |
