The remote adjustment for the external driving mirror has triple Bowden cables in a common sheath and with the outer cables linked between mounting plates on the control panel and on the mirror support. The control lever has a spherical bearing clamped between two plates on the lever side of one mounting plate. The inner cable is also clamped in the two plates. The mirror end is similarly arranged, with the mirror on a mounting stalk threaded into the second mounting plate. This allows any slack to be taken up in the system.
