摘要

In the sepn. of H sulphide from gas mixts. in the presence of oxygen or active C at elevated temp. to form S, the H sulphide-oxygen molar ratio is 1:0.55-0.65, pref. 1:0.575 and the pressure 1-50 bar. The process avoids the formation of undesirable S oxides. Pref. most of s is deposited in liquid form on a first active C layer, from which it drains, and the rest is adsorbed on a second active C layer, so that only the second layer need be regenerated.
