<p>The design provides for three different applications without the need for different units to be manufactured. There are four apertures for pipe connections in the base. For use with high-pressure supply, and with an additional spray attachment, the apertures are respectively connected to the hot and cold supplies (12, 13), the mixed water output (14) and the mixed water input (15) to the tap. The pipe (17) supplies the spray attachment via the valve (16). For tap only application, the tubes (14, 15) are replaced by a U-tube. For tap only application with a header-tank hot supply, the pipe (15) is absent and its aperture is sealed, the pipes (13, 14) are hot and cold supply respectively and the pipe (12) conveys excess cold water to the header tank.</p> |
