Appts. for taking samples of air-sensitive liquids, esp. Al alkyl cpds. consists of the following components. A sampling tube with a lock nut and conical cap mounted on its head the cap having a nipple for attachment of a tube, a flask with lock nut and plug. The flasks rests in a dish or container with a downward pin for mounting it, An inert gas nipple connection branches from the head of the flask. A 3-ring injection syringe. A hose or tube is connected at one end to the nipple on the cap of the tube and can be closed by a hose clamp. This tube leads to an inert gas supply at a branch, while a further branch tube connects the inert gas supply to the nipple on the neck of the flask. The latter connection is also closed by a hose clamp. The 3-ring syringe is connected by a further hose to the length of hose between the clamp and the inert gas connection to the flask.
