<p>A radio receiver includes a separate integrated Citizens' Band receiver. Within the common housing is a manually operable key, marked "CB-Standby" which, when operated, independently of the setting f the wave-band selector switch, connects the HF section of the CB receiver to the power supply. The demodulator output of the CB receiver is connected to a pilot tone decoder, the output of which controls an independent switch which switches on the power supply for the LF section of the receiver, disconnects the function selector switch and activates a time controlled switch which connects a built-tin tone generator to the LF stage.</p> |
