<p>Vertical piles of U-shaped cross-section are set in drilled holes and have flanges (4) against which the horizontal wall planks, spanning between the piles, bear. The piles are reinforced with a thickening (7) which forms a toothed profile (9), against which pressure plates for the anchor rods bear. The anchor rods (15), which pass through holes (14) in the pile are grouted into oblique drilled holes in the ground and tensioned. Thee construction avoids the use of components which protrude from the front of the wall, and is simple to erect, requiring no welding.</p> |
