Double plated cheese mould - with pattern of channel in outer bottom plate for compressed medium distribution

A mould for blocks of cheese consists of metal plates of which the inner plates are perforated and kept by narrow spacers at a short distance from the outer solid plates. The solid bottom plate has shallow embossed channels which are arranged in a cross and side branch pattern (cross potent) and can be connected to a pressure medium. This facilitates the drainage of whey and can be used to speed up the ejection of the chees from a mould. The embossed channels stabilise the position of a mould when resting on the floor.
