<p>The hand trolley is designed to carry objects such as oxygen and gas bottles and able to be easily transferred together with its load onto a larger vehicle. The trolley consists of a frame with a pair of front wheels and two rear wheels able to pivot on a vertical axis for steering. The trolley frame carries two pairs of rollers (15, 16, 17, 18) on the front wheel side in the upright position. The front and rear wheels are carried by side pieces (6) which are pivoted to the trolley load carrying frame (10) at the centre of gravity. To load the trolley together with contents on the larger vehicle, the trolley is moved to the lowered tail board and after releasing the pivot lock, the trolley is tilted until its front roller pair (15, 16) rests on the vehicle loading surface. The trolley is then moved onto the loading surface until all four rollers and the pivoted front wheels rest on the loading platform.</p> |
