Data monitor or display of stock recording and vehicle classification systems has one or more TV monitors and mixing stage across the input. The mixing stage input is connected to a synchronous generator as well as to a video generator. The video generator is provided with an information store. A mask is divided into transparent or clear fields and is arranged on the screen of the TV monitor. The video generator is provided with a raster generator for limiting the fields. A recording unit is connected to an address storage and read-out unit which is connected to the input of the mixing stage.
